Sacrilege! British and... urgh!
just thought you might like to see my other bike... sadly, Japanese, although it was probably built in Brazil, Mexico or goodness knows where! It's a Honda CBF 250 and quite a youngster at 7 years old compared to my 48-year-old Little Willie (though registered 2 years later).
The Honda - a bike-with-no-name - was recently returned to me after being involved in an accident. A stupid female driver decided to reverse into a parking space, without looking into her rear-view mirror. Of course I was there, stationary, a car length behind her, and the next thing I knew was she'd hit my front wheel, offside, and the Honda was on top of me. She was, of course, at fault and I had a very good witness, a director in a local insurance firm, who told me I never stood a chance. Her comment? 'Sorry! I didn't see you!" My comment? "You never looked!" It cost nearly £1400 to put the damage right. And the bike looks like new again now! Carole Nash Insurance even serviced and valeted the Honda. Top marks, CN! You have my thanks! Funny, though, how the solicitors keep phoning up to see if you're OK. Luckily, I was, apart from a couple of minor scratches. Their comment? "We'll call back, they could turn
