"I remember riding pillion on one just like that!" he continued.
Then someone else joined us, and the conversation continued about bikes, British bikes, and how the Japs had finished a once-great industry in this country.
The rain has stopped now, and it seems to be brightening up, so I may get another ride in this afternoon: the last of the year.
