After Christmas, I must get the rear wheel sorted, ie. sandblasted, spokes tensioned or replaced as a great many are loose, so, watch this space! Almost time now for a warm mince-pie and brandy butter, or some fresh cream. Yum yum!
I know it's Christmas Day, but I've had a good roast dinner, been out for a ride on the bike (sorry, Little Willie, but I went on the CBF instead - maybe tomorrow?), then I decided to refit the front wheel. And it went in like a dream! It will have to come out again as soon as I get a pair of fork gaiters from Worlingham. But the new tyre has made all the difference. If you recall the old one - a 3.00 x 19" - was rubbing against the mudguard, but the new tyre gives more clearance.

Boy AlbieI've been the proud owner of a 1965 BSA Bantam D7 since 1991, affectionately known as Little Willie (Wilhelmina) and love to take her out for a ride so that others can see her. Archives
