The D7 is having a problem with the kickstart lever not returning due to a broken spring, no doubt, and will need attending to when I can get round to it. As many of you will know, it's a 'bit of a job' to fit a new kickstart return spring, which means dismantling the clutch assembly to get to the spring.
Not the easiest of jobs! Best done after removing the petrol tank, laying the bike (carefully) on its near side before starting the stripdown. By doing it like that you should be able to keep the six clutch springs as vertical as possible, as they'd be a pig to hold in place otherwise. Well, I think so - but if anyone's got other ideas, please let me know.
