However, after warming my workshop for a couple of hours - making sure there was no condensation anywhere - I was ready to begin.
Again, using Rust -oleum Painters Touch spray-on enamel I gave the tank several thin coats - allowing plenty of time between coats - and keeping my heat source (a hairdryer) going! Not when I was spraying though, as I wanted the paint on the tank not everywhere else!
Just a small amount of 'bleeding' occurred at the tightnest curve wher the tape had lifted - but only very slightly - and this will be covered by the red coach-lining. But not yet, though, as I need to give the paint a couple of weeks to really harden. The tank is now hanging up in my wardrobe, with my best suit, for safety sake.
