Mind you, Little Willie did look smart with her Union flags fluttering in the breeze as we made our way through town, gaining admiring glances on the way.
"And cheers too!" Little Willie reminded me. "An' what about that 'royal wave' yew kep a-given the bystanders? That hoolly mearde 'em larf, dint ut?"
I have to admit I did get a bit carried away at times, although the crowds seemed to like it. We then headed for the Mid-Norfolk Railway and got there just as the train was pulling out of the station. The steam loco, 9466, from the Buckinghamshire Railway, looked the part as well, and was nicely trimmed with patriotic Union flags and bunting. We should all be proud of our Queen and for what she's done for our Country. Her Majesty means quite a lot to me especially, as she became Queen on my 11th birthday - the day her father, King George VI died. God bless the Queen.
"An' send har victorias," chipped in Little Willie. They're plums, I told her. "Well, yew know what I mean," she puttered.
