Around here, the cornfields - mainly barley for malting - have been harvested. From the height of the corn I thought the yield wouldn't have been that good - but, apparently, it's been a very high quality yield this year. Most of it, I'm led to believe, goes up top Scotland for malting in the process of making whisky!
I think an engine rebuild may be on the close horizon for Little Willie, as she's getting a bit noisy now with some ominous clonks and knocks coming from deep within. Perhaps I'll have a rebore (not me, though I could do with it!) and an oversize piston. Then I can document it and complete my engine rebuild section on this website. That's scheduled for the winter months, I think, as there's still plenty of 'riding' days left!
